Join the street team
Starting with our own band, Bastion’s Wake, we’re taking Midland Studio Records back to our community roots by starting up the BW/MSR street team!
What is it? We send you a package in the mail with fun swag; stickers, CDs, download cards, pins, or whatever we (and you!) think will do well in your area, and then you spread the trinkets around to anyone you think would love the music, too! In return, your box of tchotchkes will also have items just for you.
What’s the cost? You pay nothing except in the labor of music love.
How do you know if I gave my stuff out? We don’t. We trust that if you’re signing up to be on the street team, you love the music enough to want to talk about it with other people, and give them some swag!
Where should I give things out? Anywhere you talk to people! At shows, at the mall, waiting for your pizza order, or even someone at the gas station that looks like they’d be into the music, too!
Can I promote my own scene? YES! Please do. Even if we’re not playing a show in your city, please use us as an ice breaker to help promo shows in your area!
What if I don’t live in the United States? That’s cool, too! We’ll ship worldwide, but we are trying to reach areas we can travel to regularly.
So that’s it? I just talk to people and give them free stuff? YEP!
BUT PLEASE! The only thing we ask is you do not put stickers and stuff where they don’t belong! Only losers litter, okay?
